so it seems the GOP blocked legislation to give health care to 9/11 first responders because they vowed to not pass ANY legislation until the Bush wealthy tax cuts were extended. this absolutely makes me sick to my stomach... i have one question to those politicians who rather deny benefits to those who risked their own life to save others than pay a little more in taxes, how do you sleep at night?
you all are pompous, arrogant, selfish scum bags... and since you all claim to be Christians, trust me there is going to be a special place in hell just for you. it's going to be right next to the Wall Street douchbags who are getting million dollar bonuses for shitty ass work that caused an almost 2nd Great Depression, while others have lost their job, their house, their life and are starving and cold. also, to those who don't believe that Don't Ask, Don't Tell is an outrageous and outdated form of discrimination, i would like to see your fat, homophobic ass out there in that 120 degree desert war-zone getting shot at everyday. then you look at the man or woman that just saved your narrow minded ass from being blown up and tell me that you care who they love.
i know there are courageous and strong people out there fighting the good fight for these causes and maybe it's some of my own self loathing that makes me so angry at the injustices in this world... because i'm not one of those people fighting and that makes me feel so un-American.
